Royal Swan Bridal & Atelier is currently looking for professional fashion designer / seamstress specifically experienced with bridal and evening wear. Full time (35 hours a week) or part time (20 hours a week) positions available.

Specific Skills:

Operate sewing machines or sew by hand; Make made-to-measure garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications; Fit, alter and repair garments as required; Mark, cut and sew fabric; Design patterns to fit measurements; Select and modify commercial patterns to customers' and clothing manufacturers' specifications and fit

Work Conditions:

Attention to detail; Hand-eye co-ordination; Ability to distinguish between colours; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Bending, crouching, kneeling

Languages:

Knowledge of English

Salary:

$16.50 /hour
